Welcome from the Head of School

On behalf of all our staff and local governors it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Red Lane Primary School. Red Lane is a 2 form entry primary school located in Breightmet, Bolton. There are two classes of 30 within each year group. We offer a large pre-school nursery which provides up to 52 places each morning and afternoon. We also run a smaller 2 year old provision.

At Red Lane we pride ourselves on our motto ‘Believe, Achieve, Succeed’ working hard so that all our of children can achieve, becoming successful future citizens. It is our commitment that all children will learn to read at Red Lane as we know that when you teach a child to read, it changes everything. In order that our pupils achieve the very best, we are committed to the development of personally and socially  as well as academically. This work is underpinned by our school’s core values, excellent personal development and the excellent relationships we form with both our pupils and families. 

It is no coincidence that responsibility, resilience and independence are embedded in all that we do.
